Dave Chapelle
Me and Julia went to see Dave Chapelle last night, and I cannot tell you how much the night was not the way I thought it would be.
First, she's asleep when I start getting ready. I go to wake her up, and she looks like shit. Her eyes are bloodshot, and they're going in opposite directions. She can barely walk straight.
At this point, I'm scared. I don't know what to do. Take her to the hospital? I give her a few more minutes of sleep.
It's almost 7:30. It starts at 8. And we have to drive all the way downtown. I'm completely ready to go. Wake her up again, she still looks like shit. But damn it, we're going.
Open the garage. Guess what?
It's fucking snowing. Fuck you Wisconsin and your stupid ass weather!!!
Honestly!
I'm soooo not okay to drive in the snow, AND all the way downtown. And Julia can barely see straight, but she said she was okay now to drive.
We get there at like 8:20. Just in time to see Dave, because the opening act was walking off stage right as we sat down.
First I was getting pissed because I couldn't really understand what he was saying because of the echo. And every time I would start to understand, Julia would say something to me. But then, I started to enjoy the wonder that is Dave Chapelle.
He was so fucking hilarious!
[I'll tell you one thing too. I am going to go get a fucking eye exam. It's been over a year, maybe even two, and I need new contacts. I could see Dave, but he was still blurry. I just got paid, and I think I'm going to go get an exam and new contacts. Sucks too, because I still have like 2 pairs left.]
I hear something. Something next to me. I look over and it was Julia. Snoring. Fast asleep at Dave Chapelle. Tickets she bought for us.
I must have woken her up like 4 or 5 times.
To make up for it, she drove out of the parking lot, which took like half an hour. And drove home.
I felt so fucking hot last night too. I just dyed my hair, and did my nails. I was wearing these tight ass fucking jeans that make me look so good. I should have taken a picture, because I was just gorgeous!
One last thing: watch Dave's show! As someone said last night: it kicks ass!
