Fiona, the duck
I haven't been talking a lot about my duck, Fiona. So, I'm going to give you the low down on that.
My mom found about Fiona, and wanted her out. Julia's mom agreed that they could keep the duck, but Julia's allergies starting acting up. And Fiona came back with me.
My mom found out again. And wants Fiona out now.
I don't want to give her to the Humane Society because I'm scared that if they don't find a home for her, that she'll get killed.
Soooooooooooo.....
My Auntie Irma lives on a farm. She's willing to keep Fiona.
We're not going to see her until September 14th. Julia is going to keep Fiona in her basement since my mom wants the duck out now. And after two weeks, we're going to take Fiona to Auntie Irma's farm up north.
I must say, after all this hassle, that that damn duck has grown on me. I dreaded coming home because of the foul stench of duck shit. But now I keep up with changing her cage, and not feeding her too much or giving her too much water.
Now I kind of look forward to it.
You know how you come home after school or after work, and you have a dog that's right there waiting for you. Like you are the epitome of everything this dog has ever wanted.
Yeah. Granted, Fiona doesn't really show that she's eager to see me. But I'd like to think that she is.
Julia thinks Fiona might be a boy duck.
We're going to change her name to Fiono.
