Feelin' Like A Kid (trick-or-treating and piercings)
I only have one payday between now and Halloween. So, I'm going to Hot Topic and Torrid to shop for my "costume."

I'm going trick-or-treating as a punk. I'm so excited! I'm going to get a kick-ass shirt from Torrid, and maybe some pants. And all my accessories I'll probably get from Hot Topic or Torrid.

I also want some purple or pink hair color spray, something that washes out after like a day. And some really black eye shadow. The darkest colors I have now are purple and a dark grey.

I also want to go get my eyebrow piercing done. And a labret too. Not just because of Halloween, but because I've wanted it for so long and I've really been putting it off. What with the quitting and all. The eyebrow piercing was inspired by some chick on one of the Real World season's. It was a while ago, and I thought it looked really cute. The labret was inspired by my friend Evan. He's got one, and told me I should get one. I think it's a really cool place for a piercing.

(And I don't care what you say Andy, I want a labret!!! And if I have enough money to get one, I'm gonna ... as soon as I have a car so that you don't have to drive me to work.)

My ex-boyfriend Martin was so close-minded, and said that anyone who was willing to put a hole in their head was stupid. And that I just wanted to get the piercing because it was what everyone else was doing.

Fuck being original! That's right! Fuck it! If you like something, and it just happens to be a trend or a fad, why the fuck should you let that stop you?! If you like it, do it! And that is individualism: doing what you fucking want no matter what everyone else is doing. Whether a lot of other people are doing it, or whether you're the only one.

And I've wanted this piercing for quite a while. My mom wouldn't let me get one when I was younger, but I'm 18 now. So, on the eighteenth, it's off to the piercing place.

And don't you even start with me on the trick-or-treating thing. If you have a costume and something to hold your candy in, then you can still go!

Julia is going trick-or-treating with me! We're going with my little cousin Isaiah so it won't seem too bad. He's going to be 11 tomorrow. Well, today.

What is age? It's just a state of mind. And I'm in the state of mind of a 12 year old apparently.

It's just nice to feel like a kid again.
